Your attention, please.

Starting at 11:30 p.m., the start-up's secret recipe for performance will begin.

For the sake of the event, please turn off your cell phones or switch to vibrate mode.

I will now begin the second presentation of CTC20242.

CEO Jo Youngmin, who is the chief investment officer and CEO of OneBound Lab, a fund that invests in startups, will present a presentation entitled Secret Recipe for startups that build results.

Please give him a big round of applause.

    If you can hear me

    Okay.

    Today,

I'm going to use this microphone. Well, the story that I'm going to tell today

is that all the AI start-ups I invest in have something in common. I'd like to explain that to you.

I'd also like you to share your opinions with me.

It'd be great if you could approach me. Zero.

I think there's one or two or three. So that's what I think. There are some issues that AI has inherently regarding technology such as hellonation, copyright, and so on.

And when it comes to quality, wouldn't it be difficult for a human to do something like this?

In this general market, there are a lot of teams who use AI very well. I don't think it's a big problem for teams with superstars.

Well, solving those problems is my business. That's why I invested in So far, there are about 15 AI companies that invested only in GP Lo, and Elfiro has a few more.

But I'd like you to listen to it and use it to evaluate the companies that you can work with, or to invest in, or to start up a business, and to focus on what kind of capabilities the current company needs. Yeah, I hope it's helpful. So first of all, uh, we're going to show you the video. You all know this, right?

    What city is it? City?

    If you guess

I'll give you my coupon for coffee.

    Coffee coupon.

Do you know where it is?

No, I'm not in Sapporo. Who are you in Sapporo?

I'll give you the coupon later since you told me in the beginning.

    I'm in Tokyo.

It's called halosnation. There are times when AI technology goes overboard. If AI draws a snowy Tokyo, it will snow, but since it's Tokyo, it will plant cherry blossoms. that snow and cherry blossoms shouldn't be together. This is called halosnation, and it's sometimes included in all the outputs made by AI. Maybe I have six fingers.

It's not a bug. Hallisnation is not a bug. It's a feature. You have to keep going forward. It's a feature because you have to pretend to be a person. Basically, that's when you overdo it. But this isn't a big problem. Hollowsnation is I sometimes work at BC to evaluate venture capital companies.

I don't think seniors ask this question, but how do juniors solve hollosnation? What about copyright issues?

When I meet people who ask me this question, it's not that important to tell them not to accept investments from them.

You can think of it this way. As you can see, it's an unbound rap.

That's kind of why I did that. So I'll give you an example. I worked at Google until February 16th, and that's the day I quit my job to start the fund. I've been working at Google for eight years.

I'll share the story with you. In New York, I saw a woman running with a raincoat on. Her face was splattered with raindrops. If you prompt them with a close-up of your face, what do you get? This is what you get. This is what AI drew. Which one do you think AI drew?

If you get it right, you always get a gift. I got my severance pay and drew both of them on the right. So both of them.

    They're both drawn by AI.

Why do they have such a different quality? There are a lot of great teams behind them.

I'll invest in the team that makes the color tier on the left. So, of course, how can we decide at the very beginning whether it's on the left or the right? That's what I'm saying.

    I'll give you more quizzes.

Why do you think I'm giving you quizzes? Out of my own money.

Why do you think he's so focused? Out of his own pocket.

The lecture fee will be donated to the single mother foundation for her birth. The gift I'm giving you now is part of my severance package.

    Why is that?

Why do I have to make you understand? You're not my relatives.

It's like this. It keeps going in.

The reason I do that is because interactively gives me adrenaline, and as soon as this conference is over, I have a meeting with CEO Kwon Taegil of Merits, and I have a phone meeting, and I can explain the technology much better with adrenaline. I'm giving you the Gifticorn for selfish reasons. Not for you.

    It's very important. It's a win-win situation.

So it's a little bit easier for you to understand, can you design something every five minutes with an engineering quiz? It's a startup that serves its own purpose.

Now, you all know these four people, right? I asked them to share the first image of YouTube. If I asked you to share the first image of YouTube, would you give it to me? It's hard to give.

Or are you a little nervous? Everyone's proclivities are showing. These four are the lucky ones. These four are the lucky ones. Who do you think this belongs to? This is Tae-gyun Kim's, and this is Undersecretary Jang Mi-ran's. Whose is this?

    Min-ho.

It wasn't a quiz, but guess who this is. It's Leeteuk. It's very personalized. Would you invest in a company that uses AI to make it personalized? It's okay. Then you can buy the alphabet stock, but it's too expensive. It's relative whether it's expensive or cheap.

But more importantly, I'm going to share my first screen. That way, everyone can see what I'm like. When you ask me a question, I'll share my first screen on YouTube with you. And then...

    That's a very aggressive question.

What you need to do is I'll tell you a secret today. You need to ask them to show you their videos.

Then it'll be hard to know what kind of person they are based on the backflix. Because the genre and the content are very similar, which is a great question, but when you look at my first screen, you're going to think, well, I guess we kind of know what's going on here. This is my first screen. It has some characteristics.

    What attributes?

    It's all female character images.

    What about Élix?

You're the only OTT company that receives 16 images from content providers and it's specific?

what the user is reacting to the most from the space and then fires that image. Do you understand?

The genre of movies may be similar to your first screen, but the images are different.

What I want to say is?

What kind of start-ups do I invest in?

I'm investing in a startup that can request 16 images because other ortiti companies don't request 16 images. Why?

Should we ask for 16? In order to provide the best UX experience to our viewers, and to keep the retakes going, we need to include these concerns.

It's not about using AI. It's about using AI to create a new UX

They're really tenacious about can I do this when most OTT companies don't think that I'm going to use AI?

This robot was actually created in 2024 a few months ago. A month ago.

He's so good. If you keep watching, you'll get dazed.

This robot may not seem like a big deal, but it's controlled by a person behind it. A.

You don't invest in teams like that, right?

We invest in teams that ask the question, "How many reps does it take for the robot to do the same thing over and over again?" How many reps does it take for a person to do the same thing forever?

I love questions like that. We'll get back to you. 50 episodes.

That's a great piece of technology. I can use it.

I got my nose done with my Stanford friends this morning, so should I just let it run 50 times? What do you think they're doing today? I'm working on an algorithm to get 50 down to five times.

If you're not a big deal, you're well acquainted with this technology. You don't see it often.

You don't know what will happen in a year?

We need to be able to look at this as a platform, not as a robotics, but as a user perspective. If they ask me that question, I'll persuade them to start a business no matter what it takes.

So when it comes to creative, creative in the business model, there's nothing on the planet that you can say, "Oh, this is a really new idea. From a user's point of view, if you think that creative is creating variations from UX, and you think 2BM has never been done before What? In San Francisco, there are doppelgangers. You'd be surprised how similar they are. In the end, what is it?

From GTM to the Gotou Market Strategy and from UX, you have to use your genius there.

    So, to start-ups?

These days, the five words genius developer have become a cliché, but I don't want to just say that. I want to see how a genius developer can use their business genius more than the craftsmanship of products. So I think it's two or three. The first one is

If they think they're a CTO, they don't want to invest. CTOs can be CEOs, and all the overlapping is going on. Seung-kwon Lee, the CEO of Unbound and Toss.

He said it was finance to make it easier to explain later, but what industry is it? If you had said FINTECH, I wouldn't have had the utmost respect for it.

Can you see it from the user's perspective? Same with Unbound Industries. Secondly, I'm a guy who's been to one or two more steps of Gordy Extramar. My company's building is located in Nonhyeon-dong, so I've set up a startup on the third and fourth floor.

Fast Five and WeWorks were too expensive, so I created a space where I could support you for a very cheap rent.

But there are cases where, let me explain what a go D extrama is, it's not.

Who keeps throwing trash in front of that building? Where's the CEO?

He sent me a trash photo and a text message. It said,

Mr. Lee, I think you should take out the trash. I keep throwing this away. Who's here? The CEO on the second floor says the landlord needs to make a request with the photos of the trash and the phone number of the Dump Management Office in Gangnam-gu. I checked.

Uh, I think you should take care of this. BUILDING VIOLATION Here you go. Who would you invest in?

It's really nice, but the company I invested in is on the third floor. The CEO of the third floor sent it to me. He sent me a trash photo.

He even filed a report at the Gangnam District Office pretending to be a landlord, but the trash hasn't been picked up in two weeks. So there's a landlord's website. Landlord's Association. I went to the cafe and checked, and the Dump Management Division at Gangnam-gu Office I'm sorry if anyone is involved in this. They said it'd be faster to report it to a private company for 50,000 won, so I reported it to them and told them to keep it in mind.

Now, did I get mad at you for impersonating a landlord? Why are you impersonating me? That's not it. That's why godi's extra mile employs someone who can't step up when it comes to solving a problem.

Have you heard of YouTube called New Yorkers?

Yes, there's a YouTuber called New Yorkers if you look it up later. I'm receiving legal services from a kindergarten called Yulchon, and he took care of the scoring on my behalf.

    I'm the CEO.

Lee from Delaware Corporation is asking me to reduce legal services in his fund because he'll provide services. Product, I don't even have to open it up.

Thirdly, user friendly, am I quizzing you right now? Who's going to pay their own money to shoot the Gifticorn?

If there is, I failed there. If there isn't a third time, I've now succeeded. User-friendly, it's a little bit more user-friendly. Yes.

So it's really important that you take a good look at two or three things.

    All right, then.

I promised to give the Gifticorn to who?

I was supposed to give the coupon to the person who got it.

Yes, you're watching something else, but I'm fine. I'll give you a gift. For example, I'll give you a chicken. You'll send me a message saying chicken. That's right. Send me a chicken. Just send it as chicken.

Then 010, I gave you my number

How will you send it to me? Text messages, KakaoTalk, Facebook messenger, Instagram DM.

Which of the five Telegrams would you like to send?

    Text

    Is there another one?

It's important to send it accurately. Cacao isn't accurate. That's good too. It's a hassle, so okay.

I'll send you chicken. Please send me chicken. Micromotion's start-up teams have to do a great job with AI related products.

You need to look at the user's convenience. As a text messenger, who's the user? It's me. What's easier for me to send a gift? It's a hassle to send a gift via text.

That's right. So at this moment,

we're investing in a team that's going to allow you to do that and make that decision.

What brand is it? It's a fashion brand.

Do you think people will take a lot of pictures? Why do you need to take a lot of pictures? The audience is infrequent. The Keeperformans Indicator needs a lot of inflation in order to generate more sales even if it costs 150 billion won. Who should have the prettiest handbag? Designer handbag.

    Right. So?

Who's going to carry it out? Someone who won't get locked in.

It's an investment. It's an investment. Who's going to take it? We're going to build a framework with people.

Well, can we do something else to just get them to take a lot of pictures? We have a guy that does this. He jumps from a red building to a grey building.

    Spider-Man is cleared for take.

    I jump 10 times a day.

If you jump 10 times a day, that's a lot of coast, right?

    Yeah.

You have to pay 100 KUS dollars. That's too expensive. So what did you do? I used a robot. Robots are cheaper. They barely work. Why? Disneyland has the Avengers IP. And there's a bunch of robots in the warehouse from that movie. They're dusty. You can just borrow one of them and use it.

So it's a little bit more

If you blame your tools, materials, or situation, you can't invest, right?

We can say that those who blame their tools, materials, and situation are not creative enough.

Mr. Hyeon Woojin, the top instructor who lives here, told you this.

It's very important. That's why I invest in people who are completely open to the framework when it comes to UX. Do you know who designed the space suits at SpaceX? This space suit?

It's from Disney. It's a coincidence that they keep mentioning Disney.

You should try your best to explain your business model to as many people as you can.

It's a very amateur idea to not let anyone take my idea.

It's very important to be able to talk to a lot of people. That's how UX develops.

When we made Toss Stocks, why didn't we hire Youai from Future Securities? We would've made it the same.

You get it, right? Do you really need to use that? Honestly, who thinks you need that when trading?

You don't need it as much as you think. Actually, it's easier if AI buys it for you at a fixed price. If you've ever traded stocks, did that sense of excitement help you in your life? I should've bought it 100 won cheaper. It's meaningless, but that's what we're into.

Now, what does this person do for a living?

    We don't know his job.

    He's a businessman, so I've experienced this a lot.

He went to see the chairman of his own banking group in Gwanghwamun.

I had a meeting. When I went upstairs, I bought a box of tangerines for you. Is this how it's going to be?

So this is the point. It's a closed case. So he's not a bad person and he didn't make a mistake,

where we make a judgment based on a data value that's very small. We can't invest in that.

Because the riskiest thing is to continue to run a business based on those assumptions. So, like I said before, it's going to be a unicorn at 4 a.m. in the morning. These teams are producing investments so well even in the Ice Age. Yes, I think you can think of the Ice Age as the rich getting richer and the poorer. I

I'm not going to talk about this too much because there might be other media people here, but this is a company called Uh Esteloder whose business was bad during the pandemic. There could be teams that just sit there and say business is bad and have a stack of cache or something like that. But what we did for you in that situation

Did they not buy lipstick because they were wearing masks? Did they not?

Why didn't I buy a list? People often say it's a mask. Even at Limited Kimberly.

We need to ask the question. Seventy percent because of the mask. I'm investing in a team that's important to me, even if it's 30 percent turnaround, Gordy extra my.

It turns out that 30 percent of the time, because department stores wouldn't let us try them on, 30 percent of the time, when I went to buy them, I couldn't.

That's why when I worked at Google, one of my team members developed this.

I'm so sorry about your face. I didn't know this shabby face was on such a big screen. I thought I was mentoring you today.

If you look at my face, you can see that I've painted my lips. If a YouTuber puts on lipstick, you can use the same color and buy it, so my teammate, who developed this solution, I would definitely invest in his business. Why is that? So I'm going to be able to see data in all directions.

It's a completely different version of express. All of the solutions that you see on the market these days are being created through this technology. The first person who created it

I quit my job, but I was very happy to have a teammate. I'm sorry, but it's my face now.

Why did I have to enlarge my eye makeup? Is the estiloder crazy? No, it's not that. It's the turnaround when Levi News comes on.

So if we think user-centric, we can make a much bigger impact than we thought.

This is the hotel I stay in in Los Angeles.

The housekeeping coast is going up. Of course it's going up. Because you have to do that. But it's incredibly helpful for the company. Why is it so helpful for this hotel? It reduces our marketing costs dramatically. Every guest becomes an ambassador. and post it on social media, so it makes sense.

That's why it's so important to think user-centric. That's close.

In Seoul or Busan, near the gate, theres a sign that says Cheonchen on the ground. But the white paint on the ground, will it slow you down? No, it won't. We can't invest in teams like that. Because users are very busy. They're busy today, they're busy tomorrow, and the elevator company says it's a country where only Korea orders closed buttons again. So in Korea, slow is not helpful. But there's a place that slows down with the same ingredients. Harajuku and London are in zigzags, so it's tricky.

The cyclists nearby don't know what's going on, so they try their best to get inside.

    Then it slows down.

If the adult sees it, it looks like this. If the child sees it, he looks like he's hurt.

It's not super high-tech to make it right. Anyone can make it.

They even gave me that number so I could report an adult's violence? Does that make sense to kids? Only user-friendly things can create UX that hasn't been done before.

Do you know what this is?

It's a yearbook from Gwangmyung School called Daegu Gwangmyung School.

Why do we have to make yearbooks like that? Because these students are Dizzoli Fairing.

Students go to this school. Handing out Tudi's yearbooks because it's visually inconvenient, I tend to express it aggressively, but that's violence. Violence.

The Zorro Album you see on Tuddy's Graduation doesn't help students at the Impression School. Try to remember what the teachers look like. Let's take a look at the teachers.

The previous teachers are the ones who love their students less. No. Even if they love their students a lot, there's someone else who makes UX. Do you understand the album? I love my students i love my children i love my parents there are so many, but 19 people who change the user experience

our fund's money will be deposited, right?

What do you usually do at the hair salon?

You're waiting on your smartphone. You need a hairdresser to do this for you. I've never met a hairdresser who told me to go to a stationery store and buy some beers.

who told me to stop working at a hair salon and start a business.

So, would you like to work on YouTube? That's all I can ask. These people are able to create technology that's never been done before, and through that technology, increase YouTube's content content. No matter how many robots you install at Incheon Airport, it always falls above the service level. Why?

Why do you think that is? When you go to Incheon Airport, have you ever asked for a robot? No. So it doesn't matter at all. In Haneda Airport, just moving the handle up raises the service ranking. because you're going to go faster from the airplane exit to the parking lot.

While Google and Apple's stocks have gone up, Domino's Pizza has gone up even more in the food industry. Why is that?

Users say that 75% of people order the same pizza, and that's why we made this.

It's the same as before. Before, I had to touch the same thing four times. I'm persistent in improving it. Do you understand?

Between the two companies, which one should I invest in?

One doesn't. One does. That's the problem with big business in this country.

Their companies are similar to CIOITTM. Their backgrounds are similar. They're both smart. So why is UX different? In the end, it's different. This is how you pack low-carb bread. There are so many people who only eat low-carb bread.

And they say, Oh, our market hasnt matured yet.

There's three minds that make it possible to have two or three things built in that make it possible, and it's like this.

The name of this performance art piece is Life and Success is not new. I like teams that have this concept. It's this.

That's what a lot of people think, but it's not what I expected. It's important to make an effort to streamline this, and in the process of streamlining that, what's necessary, and this goes around and around, is the concept that the unbounded user pride is an ancient extramile. I use this method to wake up at 5:330 a.m. But this doesn't work. Not many people wake up this early every day.

Yeah, I can't do it. Maybe you can, but what did I do?

I created this room. You can come in. But you can't do it during the day. Every day at 5:33 p.m.

We say good morning to each other. I also create AI trends. That's why I'm an open bookstore. Art college 531.

So we actually do it that way. We'll do it tomorrow. We won't do it on the weekend.

But what wakes me up is why this is more powerful than the alarm earlier. Even now, the CEO of start-ups, investors, students, Myeongdeok-Kaist, and Yonsei University students are all here. There are about 200 employees. L'Oréal, Hyundai, Samsung Electronics. But the reason why this is more powerful than an alarm is because I have received a message.

that says it's going to trigger me.

The moment I see that message, I get pissed off.

I wake up early every morning. This is more powerful for me than the other alarm. It's the opposite for some. So in your own way,

If you want to draw curves, you can't do it because of motivation.

Most successful start-up CEOs I've met had no motivation. Most of them were just problem solvers.

That's what I wanted to say. So you have to make sure that, uh,

In the end, I want you to draw a close-up drawing of a woman in New York wearing a raincoat. I give you homework. Most of the time, it's like this. But

    With that output.

It's for an advertisement for Buldak ramyeon. If you draw this well, you'll get about 300 million won. Quality.

So I wanted to emphasize today that I want you to join or invest in the concept of a user-centric UX build that's never been done before. Today.

Thank you for your attention. Thank you.

That was a great presentation on real, practical real methodology.

Let's give our CEO a big round of applause.

We also have a King of Review event at the conference.

If you want to participate in the event, go to our website via QR code and fill out a photo and phage on our website.

If you've already filled it out, you're still welcome to join us.

The following announcements will take place here at 1 p.m.

We would like the participants to feel free to come after eating.

We'll see you shortly. Thank you.
